Fun, interesting and effective
I moved to Barcelona, Spain without speaking any Spanish. I discovered to be part of the "in crowd" you need to speak Catalan.
After buying a basic book and discovering that I was unable to learn due to the lack of interest, I chose TeachMe! Catalan as I liked the way it broke the learning down into Gramar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation.
The pronunciation is very important if no native Catalan speakers are present as a lot of the words are pronounced different from English words and this software...
