Occitan is spoken in southern France, parts of Italy and a small part of Spain. It is spoken as a first language by roughly 1 million people. Written Occitan can be understood fairly well by anyone with some knowledge of French and Spanish.

You'll be amazed
I was amazed at how much fun the programme is. It was easy to install (basically put the CD and it starts).
The Auto lessons make learning super simple. The programme monitors your progress and automatically selects the level you need to enable you to progress in the language. All you have to do is work your way through the lessons.
There are also stories to read where you listen, fill in gaps, show a translation etc. until you can read the story fluently.
