Swahili is a lingua franca of much of East Africa, spoken by upwards of 40 million people. About one third of the vocabulary comes from Arabic. It is spoken in Tanzania, Kenya, Congo and Uganda.

Progress is a good motivator
I have had a lot of fun doing the exercises and watching my progress.
As each level is only 3 to 4 exercises and then you can moinitor your
progress it speeds you on to get better.
Now after more than a year, I am going to see what I can do in Wales where I will attend to a Welsh course in Abergavenny for a few days.
I have reached 440 in vocabulary (amount of words) and 46% (74%+18%) in grammar.
