Very effective
I am a school teacher. I was pleasantly surprised by TeachMe! Occitan.
The AutoLearn feature is very complete and progresses the user from one level to the next. It's especially useful for beginners.
The interface is well done. The learning method used is effective - it's based on hearing, writing and speaking over and over. It's both visual and audio based.
There is a section to practice pronunciation (this uses the Langudocian dialect). The general quality of the voice is very good. This...

The stories allow you to put the vocabulary and grammar you've learned to use! Drag and drop the
words into their proper place in the story. Listen to the stories and use the slider to repeat
portions as you wish. Doubleclick on any word and up comes the dictionary with its meaning.
TeachMe! Occitan also comes with a small book of stories in Occitan a well as an audio
CD. Each story in the book is on the audio CD, so you can listen while you are reading.
