The Occitan Language
Occitan is spoken in southern France, parts of Italy and a small part of Spain. It is spoken as a first language by roughly 1 million people. Written Occitan can be understood fairly well by anyone with some knowledge of French and Spanish.

Conversing in short order
I wanted a product, that was easy to use and a teacher from Toulouse told me about TeachMe! Occitan. He had tried it out and found it good. Based on his comments, I got myself a copy.
There was an Occitan evening in our town a while ago and I was really surprised how much I could understand.
