Short Latin lesson

Latin verb conjugation: I

Verbs are used to describe actions. Latin verbs are conjugated for each person. The conjugation consists of an ending placed on the verb stem. For the first person singular, Latin verbs typically use the ending '-o'. Important to note is that pronouns are not used with the verb in Latin except to create emphasis. This means that, unlike English, the verb is in general used without a pronoun.

Examples

sequor
I follow
De viro recordor
I remember the man
credo
