Best Albanian course reviews

I have considerably improved with this course, but many Albanians corrected me on the use of certain words that are hardly used in everyday language. Nonetheless, I always managed to make myself understood. I still have to make efforts on the pronunciation, which is why I repeat the words and phrases regularly.

I have been using the TeachMe! Albanian, for a month now (finished level 2) so here are some of what I like about the course: This product is very easy to use and run even for people with below average computer skills. I also like the teaching method used in this package. Each word/phrase is taught using visual (pictures and text) and audio cues which has helped me learn a lot faster than expected. Additionally, the lessons are fairly interesting so learning is more like a game than a chore. Finally, the Settings enable the user to setup the software package to his/her learning pace which is another major feature that helps one learn a new language in a fast interesting and efficient way. I had a few technical issues at the beginning, but these were resolved quickly with the help of tech support.

I find the course very good. You really need to stick at it (obviously) but the lessons are well structured.

Quite by accident, I discovered LinguaShop and found that they had TeachMe! Albanian. I was so excited, I ordered the CD ASAP! I have been extremely pleased with the method used on TeachMe. The CD contains lessons on grammar, vocabulary, speech recognition, talking dictionary, and auto learn. The words and phrases are easily accessed and are pronounced by native speakers. The words/phrases appear on the screen and students not only hear and repeat the words/phrases but see them as well. Seeing them is especially valuable since Albanian spelling is very different than English. I am very pleased with TeachMe! Albanian. I believe that I will be able to communicate with the Albanian people and can use this knowlege as a stepping stone to being immersed in the language when I travel to Albania in the summer of 2007 to teach English.
