Simple Arabic sentences

In the present tense, where an English sentence would use the verb to be, a typical sentence in Arabic does not use a verb at all. Just the subject and the attribute are used without a verb.

Examples of simple Arabic sentences

Al hisanu kabir.
The horse is big.
Al aasena baižaa.
The horses are white.
Al bintu sagira.
The girl is small.
Al waledu kabir.
