Armenian personal pronouns : I

A personal pronoun is what we call the English words 'I', 'you', 'he', 'she', 'we' and 'they'. Just like English, Armenian has a set of personal pronouns. The English word 'I' is a pronoun in the first person singular. The Armenian word for 'I' is 'yes'.

Adjectives are used to describe nouns. To get started, we suggest you learn the three Armenian adjectives mets, pövóķr and hin (big, small, old). Using the nouns գիրք, ]աթոռ and դուռ (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use each adjective with each noun (the big book, the old chair, the small door).
