The plural is important in Chinese when you need to talk about more than one thing. Using the nouns shū, yĭzì and mén (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn the plural of each of these words by heart. This is easy in Chinese, because in Chinese, the plural is usually the same form as the singular.
