Possessive pronouns are used in Faroese to describe possession or ownership. Just like English, Faroese has a set of possessive pronouns. The Faroese words for 'my' are 'mín', 'mín' and 'mítt'. The word 'mín' is used with masculine nouns, the word 'mín' is used with feminine nouns and the word 'mítt' is used with neuter nouns.
