Step 6 : Finnish demonstrative pronouns

Demonstrative pronouns are used to refer to specific objects and their locations. In English, this would be the words this and these to refer to objects which are near and that and those to refer to objects which are further away. Using the nouns kirja, tuoli and ovi (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use the demonstrative pronouns with each of these nouns (this book, that chair, these doors). After you've learned to use the Finnish demonstrative pronouns with the nouns kirja, tuoli and ovi and the plural nouns kirjat, tuolit and ovet you can move on to Step 7 (Finnish adjectives).
