Georgian adjectives

Adjectives are generally used to describe nouns. Adjectives come before the noun in Georgian as in English. Adjectives in Georgian agree with the noun they describe. This means that adjectives that describe a feminine noun have a special form.

Step 7 : Adjectives in Georgian

Adjectives are used to describe nouns. To get started, we suggest you learn the three Georgian adjectives didi, patara and moqutsi (big, small, old). Using the nouns tsigni, dasajdomi and k'ari (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use each adjective with each noun (the big book, the old chair, the small door). After you've learned to use the adjectives didi, patara and moqutsi with the nouns tsigni, dasajdomi and k'ari you can move on to Step 8 (Georgian Verbs).
