Demonstrative pronouns are used to refer to specific objects and their locations. In English, this would be the words this and these to refer to objects which are near and that and those to refer to objects which are further away. Using the nouns littafi, kujera and kofa (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use the demonstrative pronouns with each of these nouns (this book, that chair, these doors). After you've learned to use the Hausa demonstrative pronouns with the nouns littafi, kujera and kofa and the plural nouns littattafa, kujerun and kofofin you can move on to Step 7 (Hausa adjectives).
