The plural is used, in general, to talk about more than one object. Examples in English would be 'dogs', 'cats', 'houses' and 'children'. The plural in Inuktitut is generally formed by adding '-it' to the end of the word. Some words in Inuktitut form the plural by adding '-t' to the end of the word.
