Possessive pronouns are used in Latin to describe possession or ownership. Just like English, Latin has a set of possessive pronouns. The Latin words for 'my' are 'meus', 'mea' and 'meum'. The word 'meus' is used with masculine nouns, the word 'mea' is used with feminine nouns and the word 'meum' is used with neuter nouns.
