Maltese possessive pronouns : my

Maltese has both possessive pronouns and possessive suffixes. Maltese Possessive suffixes are usually only used for body parts, words denoting kinship and words denoting familiar locations. In other cases, possessive pronouns are used. The Maltese possessive pronoun for 'my' is 'tiegħi'. Unlike English, the word 'tiegħi' is placed after the noun. The Maltese possessive suffixes for 'my' are '-i' or '-ja'.
