Nepali adjectives

Adjectives are generally used to describe nouns. Adjectives come before the noun in Nepali as in English. Adjectives in Nepali agree with the noun they describe. This means that adjectives that describe a feminine noun have a special form.

Adjectives are used to describe nouns. To get started, we suggest you learn the three Nepali adjectives thulo, sano and budho (big, small, old). Using the nouns kitab, meč and toka (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use each adjective with each noun (the big book, the old chair, the small door).
