Possessive pronouns are used in Romanian to describe possession or ownership. The Romanian words for 'my' are 'meu' and 'mea'. The word 'meu' is used with masculine nouns and the word 'mea' is used with feminine nouns. Unlike English, the words 'meu' and 'mea' are placed after the noun.
