Simple Inuktitut sentences

In a typical sentence in Inuktitut which uses the verb 'to be', the verb is placed between the subject and the attribute as in English. In the singular, the verb 'to be' is 'juq / tuq'. In the plural, the verb 'to be' is 'jut / tut'.

Matu nutāq tuq.
The door is new.
Matu angi juq.
The door is big.
Matu mikit tuq.
