Simple Nepali sentences

In a typical sentence in Nepali which uses the verb 'to be', the verb is placed at the end of the sentence. If the attribute is an adjective the verb form 'çö|çin|çön' is generally used. If the attribute is a noun the verb form 'ho|hun' is generally used.

Examples

Mānčē jawān čan.
The men are young.
Mančē-haru tūlā čan.
The men are big.
Mančē-haru buda čan.
The men are old.
