Simple Quechua sentences

In a typical sentence in Quechua which uses the verb 'to be', the verb is placed at the end of the sentence. In the singular, the verb 'to be' is '-qa'. In the plural, the verb 'to be' is 'kanku'.

Examples

T'oqo qanraqa.

The window is dirty.

T'oqo wichqasqa.

The window is closed.

T'oqo huchuyqa.

The window is small.

T'oqo hatunqa.

The window is big.

T'oqo chuyaqa.

The window is clean.
