Simple Telugu sentences

In a typical sentence in Telugu which uses the verb 'to be', the verb is placed at the end of the sentence. A unique feature of Telugu is that there is a different form of the verb 'to be' depending on whether subject is masculine or feminine. The form 'unādu' is used when the subject is a masculine noun. The form 'undi' is used when the subject is a feminine noun.

Examples

Bālulu balangā unāru.
The boys are strong.
Bālalu peda unāru.
The boys are big.
Bālalu čina unāru.
The boys are small.
