Simple Turkish sentences

In the present tense, where an English sentence would use the verb 'to be', a typical sentence in Turkish does not use a verb at all. Just the subject and the attribute are used without a verb.

Examples

Masalar küçük.
The tables are small.
Masalar eski.
The tables are old.
Masalar büyük.
The tables are big.
Masalar yeni.
The tables are new.
