Simple Uzbek sentences

In the present tense, where an English sentence would use the verb 'to be', a typical sentence in Uzbek does not use a verb at all. Just the subject and the attribute are used without a verb.

Eshik ochiq.
The door is open.
Eshik yangi.
The door is new.
Eshik kichik.
The door is small.
Eshik katta.
