We suggest you learn the Slovak verbs vidieť, chcieť and mať rád (see, want, like). Using the nouns kniha, stolička and dvere (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use each verb with each noun (I want the book, you see the chair, they like the door etc.). After you've learned using the three verbs vidieť, chcieť and mať rád by heart you can move on to Step 9 (Slovak possessive pronouns).
