Demonstrative pronouns are used with nouns to make them more specific. A unique feature of Welsh is that, unlike English, the demonstrative pronoun comes after the noun. The English demonstrative pronoun 'this' is 'yma' in Welsh.

Step 6 : Welsh demonstrative pronouns

Demonstrative pronouns are used to refer to specific objects and their locations. In English, this would be the words this and these to refer to objects which are near and that and those to refer to objects which are further away. Using the nouns llyfr, cadair and drws (book, chair, door) which you learned in Step 3, learn to use the demonstrative pronouns with each of these nouns (this book, that chair, these doors). After you've learned to use the Welsh demonstrative pronouns with the nouns llyfr, cadair and drws and the plural nouns llyfrau, cadeiriau and drysau you can move on to Step 7 (Welsh adjectives).
