Verbs in Welsh can use the verb 'to be' as an auxiliary verb. Only the verb 'to be' is conjugated. The linking word 'yn' is used between the verb 'to be' and the main verb. This is similar to the structure in English with 'I am eating' or 'They are singing' etc.
