Simple Japanese sentences

In a typical sentence in Japanese which uses the verb 'to be', the verb is placed at the end of the sentence. The verb 'to be' is 'desu' in both the singular and the plural.

Otokonokotači wa čiisai des.
The boys are small.
Otokonokotači wa atamagaī des.
The boys are smart.
Otokonokotači wa tsuyoi des.
The boys are strong.
